Current Position and Responsibilities: Reference and Instruction Librarian; Coordinator of Bell Library's Resource, Database and How-to Guides; Chair of Bell Library's Policy Committee; Member, Publications and Distance Education Committees.

Credentials: B.A. Degree in Urban Affairs, Marquette University; M.A. Degree in Urban Studies, Temple University; M.S. Degree in Library Science, University of North Texas; Ph.D. in Geography, University of Toronto.

Personal Background: Native of Madison, WI.

Selected Employment Background: From 2000-2006, served as Hmong Resource Library Director and Resource Director at the Hmong Cultural Center, Saint Paul, MN, continues to serve as an Advisor to Hmong Cultural Center's Board of Directors. From 2003-Present, editor of the Hmong Studies Journal, a peer-reviewed academic journal which may be viewed at www.hmongstudies.org. Book Reviewer for CHOICE and Multicultural Review. Editorial Board Member, Journal of Southeast Asian American Education and Advancement and the Journal of Lao Studies. Served on the Texas A and M University, Corpus Christi, Faculty Senate from 2008-2010 and as the chair of the Faculty Affairs Committee of the Texas A and M University, Corpus Christi, Faculty Senate in 2009-10.
