Bob Prager Selena Portfolio

Following the death of Tejano musical entertainer Selena Quintanilla Perez on March 31, 1995, several local artists commemorated her life and career by painting her likeness in murals on the walls of Corpus Christi businesses. Five of these important expressions of popular art were documented for Special Collections & Archives by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi photography student Bob Prager in 2001 through sixteen individual photographs that he took. He also photographed Selena's Boutique and Salon. These images are entitled the Bob Prager Selena Portfolio. Each image is an 8"x 10" black and white glossy gelatin print.

Permission to use any of these photographs must be obtained from the Special Collections & Archives Department, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Library. Any use is prohibited without prior permission. These online images are at 72 dpi. A&M-Corpus Christi will provide these images in greater resolution upon request.
